Finally – There’s Snow in the Tahoe Forecast

0

Finally, at long last, there is precipitation in the forecast for the Tahoe area. Some reports are very optimistic, expecting 5+ feet of the white stuff from several storms lining up this week and into the weekend.

If you really want to get your stoke on, read UnofficialNetworks‘ report (the most optimistic of the bunch). See below for some other reports. At this point, I hope we get feet and feet of wet snow that will form a solid base for powder days to come.

Hiking up to High Camp at Squaw Valley over the weekend, it was hard to believe we’re in mid-January. We’ve already lost a sizable chunk of the season, but it will come!

Oh, and, just for fun, remember last season? If only I had a time machine…
