I went out and saw Warren Miller’s Dynasty here in San Francisco last night. The film features Tahoe and Tahoe skiers right out of the gate in the opening sequences of the show.

After the requisite sales pitch for ski passes and salvos to Warren Miller sponsors and such, the curtains went up. Cheers erupted from the crowd the minute the familiar blue waters of Lake Tahoe appeared on the screen. The crowd was stoked for sure.

Last year was a big snow year, so they had a ton of beautiful powder for filming. Good stuff. I’d recommend checking it out if you can.

Of course, films like this don’t help matters if you’re like me and you constantly catch yourself day-dreaming of snow while sitting in the office. It will only make things worse, I’m afraid.
